URL Unicorn, operated by Snapit Software, respects your privacy. This page describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Snapit Software does not sell your personal information for money, and has not done so in the preceding 12 months. We also do not “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
What "Sell" and "Share" Mean
Under the CCPA/CPRA, these terms have specific legal meanings:
- Sell — disclosing personal information to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration.
- Share — disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for consideration.
We do neither. The limited third parties we work with (such as Stripe for payments and Google for sign-in) act as service providers or processors on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete — request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. (We already do not sell or share it.)
- Limit Use of Sensitive Information — limit our use of any sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.
- Non-Discrimination — exercise your rights without receiving discriminatory treatment, such as denial of service or different pricing.
How to Submit a Request
Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no opt-out for you to complete. However, you may still exercise any of your other rights (know, delete, correct, or limit) at any time.

Verification & Response Time
To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by the CCPA, and will never charge a fee for a standard request.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Categories of Information We Collect

- Identifiers — name, email address, IP address.
- Account & usage data — short URLs created, click analytics, preferences.
- Commercial information — subscription and billing records (processed by Stripe).
- Internet activity — device and browser information for security and functionality.
We collect this information to provide and improve the URL Unicorn service, not to sell it.
